Please pray for our Short Term Mission teams traveling this Summer: Core Students to Bolivia June 27-July 8; Ghana July 9-19; Tribe Middle School students to Arizona July 14-20; Haiti July 18-26.

Short Term Missions applications accompanied by a $100 deposit can be dropped off any Sunday at the Welcome Desk on level 2, Walker Center.

The deposit is refundable until such time that you are confirmed and begin team preparations. All gifts are tax deductible.

Mount Paran sends Global Encounter Teams around the world to minister the love of Christ through practical aid, evangelism, and encouragement to our missio missions_logo naries and strategic partners through Short Term Missions trips.

Global Encounter Teams prepare for cross cultural experiences during a weekend intensive team building retreat and several pre-trip meetings.

Global Encounters participants travel to serve and to learn, desiring an expanded worldview of the Body of Christ and a deeper walk with the Lord.

Dear Partners in Ministry,

God has given each of us talents and gifts that He desires to use for His glory. Would you consider allowing the Lord to use your gifts and talents to bless someone far less fortunate than yourself, and at the same time experience what God is doing in another culture to reach those who do not know Christ? Short Term Missions is a great way to let God use what he has created in you to bless others, expand your worldview of God, and deepen your walk with Him. Trips are from one to two weeks in length and all contributions toward your trip are tax deductible.

The deadline to submit an application for a 2009 team is Sunday, March 8. (Kenya team deadline is May 31)

Planned Trips for 2009:

Kenya
Stephanie DeLong will lead a team to Webuye, Kenya where we will lend support to the local church, Life Spring Ministry, in areas such as children, youth, men, women, couples, pastors, and crusades. We will also bring materials for a local school and orphanage.
